If I can’t eat it, then I’ll watch it!

So here’s day 3 and I’m feeling alright. I’m probably going to go out to dinner tonight, so I try to cut back on calories for breakfast and lunch.

Something that helps me from eating fat stuff like burgers and so on is to watch it on TV! That might sound a little weird, but I actually do like to watch “Man vs. Food” or “Cake Boss” or “No Reservations” and so on. If I can’t eat it, then I’ll watch it!

Day 1 went well, day 2… uhm not so much!

Day 1 really did go pretty well! Even though I had leftover chinese food for lunch and quesadillas for dinner, I “only” had a total of about 1400 calories. I believe I did the right choices and ate pretty well! After all I am very motivated to change the way I eat. I got to start working out though…

Here’s to the new me!!!

 

Ok so this is it! My weight loss blog. Today is day one of the rest of my life. I am Lisa, trying to lose weight. Ugh, is that how I should introduce myself? Well I guess that’s what it’s all about now!

I’ve never been one of those skinny girls. I’ve always been chubby and most of the time been overweighted.

I am from Germany but I currently live in Connecticut, USA, being an Au Pair in a great family taking care of three kids (4, 8 & 11 years old).

I’m going to use my blog to keep up with my weight loss, share recipes and food in general.

 

For right now this is a big mess, but I’m getting there! Smiley
